It feels strange to be writing an introduction after publishing several blogs over the years. I found myself growing uncomfortable with my old ones and I seldom posted on them anyways. I don't like the idea of scheduled content or writing explicitly for others and I grew tired of the scene. I used to run fashion blogs and it was fun for a time. I was into sewing very niche styles but I've grown and I'm past it all. The friends I made in the blogosphere have moved on and I felt I needed to hit the reset button. I want a space where I can log my sewing projects and crafts and not feel pressured to produce anything. I don't want to worry about curating content or building a brand or an audience or whatever other nonsense people are obsessed with these days. If you happen to find your way here because of a pattern review or some other bizarre reason then I hope you glean something useful from the experience.
